One Voice Choir Project

Teaching four choirs from different ethnic backgrounds to beatbox, and taking them to Wembley Arena!

Shlomo has been commissioned to create a new piece and a new sound for Summer 2008. Throughout May and June he will be working with 4 choir groups from 4 different backgrounds: African, Asian, Brazilian and British. Each group will be taught how to beatbox by Shlomo and his crew of Bellatrix, jestar* and Hobbit. The whole collective will then be assembled to create a new piece fusing all the respective sounds! This will be performed at the Respect Festival in Harlesden Park on July 6th, and then at WEMBLEY ARENA for the Culture8 Olympic Changeover Ceremony on September 28th!
